Cars we Can’t Have: Aston One-77 with world’s most powerful engine (Video)
Before regaling us with tales of (more) environmentally-friendly luxury motoring, courtesy of its diminutive Cygnet minicar, Aston Martin tells what it’s really all about—unbridled power.
The upcoming One-77, Aston’s “ultimate expression of design, engineering and craftsmanship,” will pack a monstrous 7.3-liter V12. Its 750 bhp and 750Nm gives it the nod as the car with the world’s most powerful engine–that is, most powerful naturally-aspirated road car engine. But why quibble? The car is limited to a run of 77 units. Price is expected to be significantly more than $1 million when delivery starts in first quarter 2011.
Can’t wait that long? Hit the video link for an ear-splitting first look.
Killer feature: World’s. Most. Powerful. Engine.
Cool touch: Getting this car before Bond does.
Why we can’t have it: Limited 77-unit run has been sold out (as usual).
