The Czech based I.S.R. Racing team is looking to close out its 2nd year in the Balncpain GT Series on a high note. I.S.R. features Philippine-Swiss driver Marlon Stockinger along with Franck Perera, driving the #74 car and Franck Stippler, and Filip Salquarda in the #75 Audi R8 LMS.
I.S.R. Racing will now head to Barcelona for the final race of the 2016 season. Currently in 8th place overall, the team are looking at cracking the top 5 of the standings. The highly technical course layout of Catalunya will have a two-day compressed racing program: two practice sessions will take place on Saturday morning at 10:15 and 10:45, with qualifying to be held in the afternoon starting at 15:30. Sunday will feature two races, at 0915 and the main race at 12:00 noon ( alllocal time).
According to Igor Salaquarda, I.S.R. Team principal; “We get to Barcelona aiming to end at the best this long season that has seen our presecence also in the Blancpain GT Series Endurance cup. Our feelong with the Audi R8 LMS has improved a lot over the last year and we know we can now fight for important positions. The closing races will be very tight as all drivers will play their last cards and we must be focused on getting the most out of our experience to end the season on a high.”
