Lexus Philippines is unleashing a double dose of “Luxury Performance Hybrid” vehicles this October. The RX450h and the brand’s flagship, the humongous LS600hL sedan, will be available starting sometime next week.
Each car uses an electric motor teamed up with a gasoline engine to increase performance and mileage. The RX450h packs an Atkinson-cycle 3.5-liter V6 and pairs it with front and rear electric motors for a total of 295 bhp. The LS600h L has a 5.0-liter V8 with electric motor, good for 438 bhp and a 5.5-second 0-100 km/h time.
The RX450h will be priced at approximately P4.78 million. The LS400h will go for P9.988 million for the four-seater version, and about P8.9 million for the five-seater.
