As the image of Arturo Macapagal looked on, his son Alex officially opened the latest Toyota home.
Toyota Angeles Pampanga was officially opened for business last Monday just off the Angeles exit of the North Luzon Expressway.
The new four-story facility has a floor area of almost 20,000 square meters housing 65 working bays to answer and support the needs and demands of an increasing customer base.
Opening a Toyota dealership in Pampanga was long a dream of the late Arturo Macapagal, although he was able to witness the awarding of this third project to the family’s Melandrex Group in a joint venture with Toyota Tsusho Philippines.
The other two Toyota dealerships of the Melandrex Group are Toyota Pasong Tamo and Toyota Global City.
Present during the opening of the latest Toyota home were Alex Macapagal, chair and president of Toyota Angeles Pampanga, former President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) president Satoru Suzuki, TMP vice chair Alfred Ty, Pampanga Gov. Lilia Pineda, Angeles City Mayor Edgardo Pamintuan, TMP senior vice president for marketing Jose Ariel Arias, Toyota Tsusho Philippines president Katsuhiko Nakano, and Asia project manager for Toyota Tsusho Corp. Automotive Division Hideo Archiwa.
