The Trans Sport Show stages its 26th edition at the SMX

Tradeshow International, Inc., organizers of the Trans Sport Show stages the 26th edition of the longest running car show in the country at the SMX Convention Center by Mall of Asia. Co-presented by Phoenix Petroleum, the Trans Sport Show recognizes the loyal exhibitors and TSS car competitors as well who have consistently trusted Tradeshow International, Inc. in producing a well-organized car show every year for them. “When we launched the ‘My TransSportShow Story”’ campaign last year it began to revive countless memories by show patrons since the early ‘90s – a truly heartwarming revelation for us now that we culminate our 25th Anniversary this year.” TSI President Sophie delos Santos said. She added that the campaign was initially meant to share anecdotes by Trans Sport Show friends and patrons over the years to inspire all car lovers of all ages to better appreciate the automobile. This has always been the driving force behind Trans Sport Show.

From its inception in 1992 as a general automotive show , Trans Sport Show has evolved into a successful brand, transcending its category as just a car show to becoming part of the Filipino car enthusiasts’ culture. It is the car enthusiasts’ venue of choice for creative self-expression through their automobiles. It is not unusual to see car enthusiasts who have been attending the show since 1992, starting out when they were young and most of who have children with the same interest and passion and have become Trans Sport Show patrons themselves.

The Trans Sport Show has a compelling story to tell year after year with its dynamic and experiential formats combining entertainment and education in a marketplace setting. It is instrumental in producing most, if not all, of the best show cars in the Philippines as well as in helping over a thousand car shops, restorers, craftsmen to be recognized in the automotive industry with its advocacy on auto restoration excellence. It has consistently added value to all other brands which have participated in the event like sponsors, exhibitors and car competitors.

Event Highlights include the Meet and Greet event of DZ Racing featuring two iconic personalities of Honda Spoon Sports namely Tatsuru Ichishima (Spoon Sports founder) and Daijiro Inada (Options Magazine). The event also serves as the venue for the media launch of the 4th Tour de Cebu – the popular 1,000 Kilometer Historic Sports Car Rally across the Visayas and the 26th Trans Sport Show Cup Competition participated by the best car restorers as well as budding but promising car shops in the country.

For the first time, popular motorbike show Moto Builds Pilipinas, an annual event organized by Makina will also be held simultaneously with the Trans Sport Show at the SMX fairgrounds.
