Just in time for the Philippine screening of Disney Pixar’s “Cars 3” movie this August, Sphero PH is set to unveil the Ultimate Lightning McQueen racing machine. More than just a remote control toy car, this Lightning McQueen features a trapezoidal LCD screen that can do video animation including McQueen’s animated eyes. It comes with an animatronic mouth equipped with high quality speakers that gives crystal clear sound and audio reproduction plus an emotive suspension to mimic the moves of the Piston Cup Champion and Cars 3 hero on screen

A free app allows you to control McQueen and respond to your commands with his personality on display, thanks to emotive actions and speech. This allows him to lean into hairpin turns and drift like a pro. The app can be downloaded via Google Play Store or iTunes and is controlled by Bluetooth.
Its versatile rubber tires allow it to be drifted on hard surfaces or even low-to-average cut carpets. It has special capacitive touch panels that react to your every touch and automatic tail and head lights that lit up and adjust its brightness thanks to its built-in ambient lighting sensors.
Produced by Sphero in collaboration with Jay Ward, “Cars” movie and Disney Pixar’s creative director and supervising animator Bobby Podesta, Sphero spared no expense in making sure it comes very close to the movie character’s movements and personality. The Colorado based tech company was established in 2010 and was also the creator the BB-8 Sphero remote control android of the Star Wars fame.
Retailing at Php17,999 each, you can pre-order your very own Ultimate Lightning McQueen at select branches of Hobbes & Landes, Toys R Us, Rustan’s Department Stores or pre-order online through Lazada and Geek PH Store.
