The Lexus LC nameplate stands for “Luxury Coupe” and started as a concept car and made its debut as the LF-LC about five years ago in the 2012 North American International Auto Show in Detroit.

While many were skeptical of the viability of turning a concept car like the LF-LC into a production vehicle, the car became a production model five years later, maintaining as much of the concept in the production car as possible.

Lexus says the LC is a symbol of change. It represents a paradigm shift in the design and engineering process of the brand, as well a change in the brand’s fabric.

Almost every aspect of the LC embodies the visionary, original, and exciting character that Lexus is becoming. It reflects the strongest statement yet about the brand’s direction, and serves as the halo model to steer the brand toward that direction.

It will be remembered at a time where European luxury brands dominated the automotive markets globally, in 1989 Lexus launched its first production vehicle with a single-minded commitment to perfection.
It was from this dedication that the original tagline, “The Pursuit of Perfection,” was bred.

Anchored on this philosophy, it did not take long for Lexus to gain traction in the motoring arena, with highly-acclaimed cars and exceptional customer service as its global hallmarks.

On the outside, LC500 looked faithful to the concept vehicle, maintaining many of the key design elements, proportions, and visual dynamism of LF-LC, which received high acclaim during its debut in 2012. The LC’s front fascia features a familiar and powerful interpretation of Lexus’ signature spindle grille, albeit with a radical new 3D mesh design. Inside, one gets cocooned into a luxurious cabin and finds a cockpit-focused yet elegant layout and design.

The LC comes in 11 exterior colors, including a new “Naples Yellow color, and “Ochre” color for the interior. The LC500 retails for P8,888,000.
