Constant traffic jams and gasoline price hikes have turned people’s attention to motorcycles. Riding in motorbikes has become a smarter way of traveling distances than just being a mere adrenaline rush.

Meeting the needs of more riders means coming up with state-of-the-art technology that can deliver a safe and more enjoyable riding experience.

Chevron has come up with the newly launched Caltex Havoline synthetic and mineral motorcycle engine oils.

Unveiled at the “Ride Strong” event at the Valkyrie at the Palace, Caltex Havoline aims to complement the skills and courage of Filipino urban riders traversing the streets of Metro Manila.

“We have two commitments: we want to build that connection with the Filipino riders and we also want to strengthen our commitment to provide better products to support our riders,” said Lennard Kwek, Asia Pacific marketing manager for Chevron Lubricants.

Havoline’s latest family of motorcycle oils is specially crafted by experts to give riders enhanced acceleration, optimum heat protection, and better engine performance, which all make for an exciting and strong ride in city settings.

“We offer the kind of innovation that enhances the engine performance of motorcycles. We are proud of our core technology that addresses the most basic concerns on the road, and enables efficiency and power to achieve acceleration at a twist of a throttle,” said Joseph Bronfman, area business manager, Finished Lubricants for the Philippines and Vietnam.

Core technology cleans and protects the engine to deliver superior performance, oxidation stability against oil degradation, reduced engine heat damage with superior oil stability, and enhanced acceleration through improved clutch grip even under high loads.

Ride Strong also gets the support of Caltex celebrity ambassador Solenn Heussaff, who successfully zoomed her way to an adrenaline-filled lifestyle.

For someone who takes time out from a busy show business schedule to enjoy outdoor adventures, Solenn believes that riding and being on the road “makes you the boss. You are in full control of the situation behind the wheel. So, you feel empowered.”

Heussaff’s endorsement also celebrates women riders who thrive and continue to be empowered in a seemingly male-dominated pursuit.

Caltex Havoline boasts of the Zoomtech additive technology, which improves clutch grip for better power transfer.

Havoline is available in the SuperMatic 4T semi-synthetic variant, which is 50 percent above industry standard in engine cleanliness and deposit control.

Havoline is now available in Caltex stations and local auto supply shops nationwide.
