According to the latest Road Crash Statistics Report of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority’s Metro Manila Accident Recording and Analysis System, there were 12,635 road crashes on Edsa in 2017.
Of this figure, 19 accidents were fatal, 776 resulted in non-fatal injuries while 11,840 resulted in damage to property. —Marielle Medina
