Toyota Vios Cup Season 5 Race 2 takes it to the streets

By INQUIRER.net BrandRoom July 27,2018
Toyota Motor Philippines is gearing up for the second race of the Vios Cup Season 5 set to happen on July 29, 2018 at Filinvest, Alabang.

Coming from an exciting race last April, gearheads can expect an even more heart-pounding race with a total of 52 racers composed of 46 drivers and 6 celebrity racers battling it out to see who can really put the pedal to the metal!  Motorsports fans can also expect thrilling races from our celebrity racers such as Sam Milby, Diego Loyzaga, Sofia Andres, and Chie Filomeno with returning celebrities from last season’s race – Japanese-Brazilian model Fabio Ide and actor Troy Montero. The event will once again be hosted by racers & motorsports enthusiasts, James Deakin and Gaby Dela Merced.

In a statement, Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) President Satoru Suzuki said that, “I am very pleased to see the program has developed our Vios Cup racers and their level of driving skills these past years. This is seen in how a number of drivers have upgraded from racing in the promotional class to the sporting class & even battling it out in the international arena.”

As we gear up for this next race, Toyota keeps the waku-doki spirit for which the Vios Cup has always been known for. The second race of the Vios Cup Season 5 will definitely be more exciting for our motorsports fans and momentous for TMP with the public launch of the All-New VIOS that gearheads and car enthusiasts shouldn’t miss! Gates open at 9:00AM. Be there to meet & greet your favorite racers and watch them race up to 5:00PM.
