All (Off)roads lead to Philippine Tough Truck Challenge XVIII

December 04,2018

This December, friendship will be put to test in the City of Golden Friendship as friends become foes, and the only thing standing in the path to off-road glory. Man, machine, and friendship will be pushed to the limit in Philippine Tough Truck Challenge (PTTC) XVIII happening on December 8 and 9, 2018 in Cagayan de Oro City.

The 2018 MAXXIS-NAsFOR racing season has seen as many as six racers take top spot during the 12 legs of the competition. With just one race left to decide 2018’s Driver of the Year (DOY), friendship will be put to test as off-roading buddies Noel Bartolome, Jr. – ranked 1st with 4 race legs won – and Jherico Lara – ranked 2nd with 3 races to his name – head to the finals with just 12 points separating them. 2018’s most consistent performers will be aiming for their first DOY award, hoping for a rare double (as DOY and as PTTC champion) along the way.

Also joining the fray are 2015, 2016 and 2017 Rainforest Challenge Malaysia champion Cu Xi Chang of Team Maxxis Malaysia 119 and 2018 Borneo Safari 1st runner-up Yap Soon King.  This will be the first time international racers, and champions at that, will compete in PTTC.

Philippine Tough Truck Challenge is made possible with the support of the following:Maxxis Tires Philippines, Racetech 4×4 Suspensions, 199OffroadHouse, AEG Powertools, FCC Trading, TRE 4×4, ProRock Engineering,  ARB, Ride, Inc., Come Up Winch.
