MMPC holds head-to-head test drive for Xpander

Every new vehicle model arrives with the aim of being the best in its segment.

To help achieve this goal, Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corp. (MMPC) recently announced it will hold a series of activities that will pit the all-new Xpander against other automotive brands’ competing models.

“We are so proud of our seven-seater MPV that as part of one’s car-shopping journey, we organized these test driving events that will compare the all-new Xpander with the other competing models.

“Looking at pictures of the vehicles online probably won’t give one an idea of how well they handle the road or how much interior space there actually is,” explained MMPC president and CEO Mutsuhiro Oshikiri.

This month of February, the following Xpander head-to-head (H2H) test drive events will be held:

Union Motor Corp./Peak Motors Phils. Inc. at SM Mall of Asia on Feb. 2-3 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Citimotors, Inc. at SM South Mall (West Parking) on Feb. 16-17 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Diamond Motor Corp. at SM Marikina (Parking A & B) on Feb. 23-24 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

To fully demonstrate the performance of the all-new Xpander, a special test drive course will be laid out within these venues.

“This event is a great opportunity for car buyers who are planning to purchase a brand new vehicle.

“For most people, a new vehicle is one of the most expensive items they will ever buy. Long-term happiness with the purchase is also at stake.

“That’s why it is important to get one’s choice of a new vehicle right, and to make smart decisions during the entire selection and purchase process,” explained MMPC AVP for Marketing Services Arlan Reyes.

He added that the Xpander H2H is a public test drive event that gives customers the opportunity to compare and personally experience the class-leading features of the all-new Xpander.

The event also serves to let customers see for themselves why the all-new Xpander is the top choice under the small MPV segment.

MMPC also announced that customers who will make reservation for the all-new Xpander will get an exclusive discount, applicable only for the all-new Xpander, and at specified dealer outlets only.

Oshikiri added that this one-of-a-kind test drive event will also prove the recent recognition that the all-new Xpander received from the prestigious C! Awards where it bested other MPVs, and was hailed as the best compact carrier.

MMPC likewise announced that the event will include the recently launched new Strada pickup truck and the Montero Sport SUV from the list of vehicles that could be test-driven during the event.

For customers who will not be available on these schedules, MMPC says a test drive could still be arranged at their preferred dealership.
