PNB savings bank holds 4th auto dealers golf cup at Wack Wack

Thomas Elazegui emerged as Low Gross Champion with a score of 73, while Ding Legazpi scored a 68 to become the Low Net Winner in the PNB Savings Bank 4th Auto Dealers Golf Cup last February 12 at the Wack Wack Golf and Country Club.

Fidel Portillo topped Class A with a net 69 in the tournament participated by 103 players, majority of whom are PNB Savings Bank auto dealers partners from Toyota, Mitsubishi, Hyundai, Nissan, Ford, Audi, BMW, Chevrolet, Foton, Honda, Isuzu, JAC Motors, Kia, Lexus, Mazda, Mini, Subaru, Suzuki, Tata Motors, Volkswagen.

Medardo Reyes finished second in Class A followed by Lawrence Goh. Tey Sornet topped Class B with a net 71, while the Class C titleholder was Lourdes “Detsy” Laurel with net 75.

Executives from PNB Savings Bank and Philippine National Bank (PNB), corporate clients and partners also took part in the event.

The tournament was held to strengthen the bond between the Bank and its partners. PNB Savings Bank also wanted to show its appreciation to its partners.

“This is the fourth year that we’ve invited our valued Auto Dealer partners for a golf game and we hope to continue this tradition in the years to come,” said PNB Savings Bank First Vice President (FVP) and Motor Vehicle Loan Group Head Jose Ramon Santamaria. .

PNB Executive Vice President (EVP) and Marketing and Brand Management Sector Head Jovencio Hernandez and PNB Savings Bank Acting President Mary Ann Santos led the ceremonial tee-off.

Class C champion Detsy Laurel of Toyota Batangas

Allen Pascual and Willy Tee Ten finished second and third, respectively, in Class B. Alex Aspillera and Don Comia were second and third placers, respectively in Class C.

Jameson See won the nearest to the pin award, while Val De Leon recorded the most accurate drive. The longest drive was achieved by Anthony See, while Thomas Elazegui had the most number of pars and Ding Legaspi made the most birdies.

Players who are non-auto dealers were also recognized in a separate game category where ATMSafe Global Benefits Group Country Manager Jimmy Reyes emerged as Champion with a net 71. Phintecstar Consultant Jonathan Salcedo and PNB Savings Bank Vice President (VP) and Area Head Nicolas Diaz finished second and third placers, respectively in this category.

Anthony Suntay hosted the awarding ceremonies and The Savers Band treated the players and guests with a supreme performance.

PNB Savings Bank also raffled off generous prizes highlighted by the mulligan cash prize of P45,500 and a Business Class roundtrip ticket to Osaka, Japan courtesy of Philippine Airlines, won by Danny Isla and Jack Palacios, respectively.
