15th MIAS makes it easier to own a VW

At the 15th Manila International Auto Show (15th MIAS) happening from April 4 to 7, 2019, Volkswagen Philippines will make sure owning a VW is much easier.

The bright, sunny, summer atmosphere of the Volkswagen display area will be infused with that unique motoring lifestyle the Volkswagen brand has been known for all over the world.

Within the display area, a Volkswagen waiting to brighten the summer days of every Filipino motorist and car enthusiast will be waiting. The following models will be on display:

  • a Pepper Grey Santana MPI MT accessorized with the Blaupunkt Infotainment System;

  • a Reflex Silver Santana 180 MPI AT S with Blaupunkt;

  • a Deep Black Santana 180 MPI AT SE with Blaupunkt;

  • a Red Rock Santana GTS 180 MPI AT SE with Blaupunkt;

  • a Hunting Brown Volkswagen Tiguan 280 TSI DSG SE with Blaupunkt;

  • a Misano Red Lamando 280 TSI DSG SEL; and

In celebration of the 5th year of Volkswagen Philippines, the company informs there will be loads of discounts, add-ons, and financing deals meant to make every visitor’s exciting encounter with the Volkswagen much longer lasting.

These offers are good for the first 50 customers who will purchase from April 4 to 7 only.

Santana offer

Exclusive at the 15th MIAS, visitors who will purchase a Santana MT will get an outright P35,000 discount; an outright P45,000 discount for the Santana AT; and a free ceramic coating for the Santana GTS.

The Santana is an ideal sub-compact sedan for young families and young professionals.

The Santana MPI MT is powered by a 1.4-liter Multi-Point Injection 4-cylinder gasoline engine mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. It generates maximum output of 89 horsepower and 132 Nm of torque.

On the other hand, the Santana 180 MPI AT S and SE variants as well as the Santana GTS 180 MPI AT SE offer more power with its 1.5-liter, 4-cylinder, in-line gasoline engine with BlueMotion Technology. Mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission, it generates maximum output of 109 horsepower and 150 Nm or torque.

The Santana AT standard features are 15-inch alloy wheels, Electronic Stabilization Program while SE variant added amenities are rain sensing wiper, cruise control, rear Park Distance Control, multifunction steering wheel and front side airbag. The Santana GTS 180 SE AT offers features such as ESP, sunroof, cruise control, rear PDC, multi-information display, front side airbag, roof rail, and 372 liters of trunk space.

An outright P55,000 cash discount for Lavida buyers

Lavida offer

MIAS visitors who purchase their Lavida on site will enjoy an outright P55,000 cash discount.

The Lavida is the ideal sedan for corporate managers.

The Lavida 230 TSI DSG SE is equipped with a 1.4-liter, 4-cylinder Turbo Fuel-Injected gasoline engine equipped with BlueMotion Technology. Mated to a 7-speed Direct Shift Gearbox transmission, it is capable of generating maximum 128 horsepower and 225 Nm of torque.

Lamando offer

Those who will purchase a Lamando at the 15th MIAS will get a free ceramic coating.

With its elegant looks and smooth ride, the Lamando, is the sedan that would appeal to corporate executive.

The Lamando 280 TSI DSG SE and SEL is powered by a 1.4-liter 4-cylinder, in-line, Turbo Fuel-Injected gasoline engine equipped with BlueMotion Technology and generates maximum 148 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque.

Standard features and amenities for both include leather seats, panoramic sunroof, KESSY, push start system, LED headlamps, App-Connect, front dual and side airbags, ESP, electronic parking brake, rear PDC and rear camera, while the SEL variant offers an additional Adaptive Cruise Control with Front Assist, Active Info Display, 9.2-inch infotainment system and head curtain airbags.

An outright P25,000 cash discount for a Tiguan purchase

Tiguan offer

The Tiguan will be offered with an outright P25,000 cash discount at the 15th MIAS.

This German-engineered SUV is ideal for growing families and corporate executives at the peak of their active lifestyles.

The Tiguan 280 TSI DSG SE is powered by a 1.4-liter, 4-cylinder Turbo Fuel-Injected gasoline engine equipped with BlueMotion Technology and mated to a 6-speed DSG transmission. Maximum output is 148 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque.

Its interior features and comfort amenities include “Vienna” leather seat material, 2-zone Climatronic airconditioning, Panoramic sunroof, eight speakers, and driver power 12-way seat adjustment. Safety systems include ISOFIX anchorage points, ESP, ASR, EDS, EDTC, hill hold control, and rear PDC with acoustic warning signal.

Volkswagen Philippines adds that warranty coverage for all these models are comprehensive. Aside from the three years or 100,000-km general warranty, whichever comes first, there will also be a  3-year warranty for paint and another 3-year warranty for through-corrosion of the main steel body structure is also included.

The periodic maintenance service (PMS) interval schedule for these new models is also structured for the owners’ convenience. The PMS interval is once a year, or every 10,000 km, whichever comes first. This is more convenient and more cost-efficient compared to the industry-standard 5,000-km PMS interval.
