15th MIAS makes it easier to own a VW

Santana offer

Exclusive at the 15th MIAS, visitors who will purchase a Santana MT will get an outright P35,000 discount; an outright P45,000 discount for the Santana AT; and a free ceramic coating for the Santana GTS.

The Santana is an ideal sub-compact sedan for young families and young professionals.

The Santana MPI MT is powered by a 1.4-liter Multi-Point Injection 4-cylinder gasoline engine mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. It generates maximum output of 89 horsepower and 132 Nm of torque.

On the other hand, the Santana 180 MPI AT S and SE variants as well as the Santana GTS 180 MPI AT SE offer more power with its 1.5-liter, 4-cylinder, in-line gasoline engine with BlueMotion Technology. Mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission, it generates maximum output of 109 horsepower and 150 Nm or torque.

The Santana AT standard features are 15-inch alloy wheels, Electronic Stabilization Program while SE variant added amenities are rain sensing wiper, cruise control, rear Park Distance Control, multifunction steering wheel and front side airbag. The Santana GTS 180 SE AT offers features such as ESP, sunroof, cruise control, rear PDC, multi-information display, front side airbag, roof rail, and 372 liters of trunk space.

Volkswagen Philippines adds that warranty coverage for all these models are comprehensive. Aside from the three years or 100,000-km general warranty, whichever comes first, there will also be a  3-year warranty for paint and another 3-year warranty for through-corrosion of the main steel body structure is also included.

The periodic maintenance service (PMS) interval schedule for these new models is also structured for the owners’ convenience. The PMS interval is once a year, or every 10,000 km, whichever comes first. This is more convenient and more cost-efficient compared to the industry-standard 5,000-km PMS interval.
