Volkswagen Santana continues to be CW Home Depot’s preferred fleet sedan

May 16,2019

Volkswagen Philippines recently turned over nine Santana sub-compact sedans to CW Home Depot. This recent acquisition by the pioneering home construction and renovation store brings the total number of Volkswagen vehicles in its fleet to 17.

CW Home Depot got four Jetta sedans in 2017 for its executives’ use, then in July 2018 brought in four Santanas for its managers. The 9 new Santanas will be given to its top sales achievers.

CW Home Depot is the first store-within-store retail concept wherein everything one needs to build or renovate a home is all under one roof. The store’s unique platform offers a variety of building, finishing and furnishing products in a one-stop-shop setup.

CW Home Depot’s unique brand proposition for its customers–which revolves around the convenience, practicality, and efficiency of its retail concept–is perfectly aligned with its choice of the Volkswagen Santana as the vehicle for its top sales representatives, who tirelessly do the rounds of client calls and sales meetings with architects, builders, contractors, engineers, interior designers, and DIYers in promoting the practicality, quality, reliability and convenience of CW Home Depot’s products.

With the recent establishment of its Cavite outlet, CW Home Depot now has 9 stores.

The Santana has been considered the ideal vehicle for CW Home Depot’s managers and sales achievers, as the sedan offers German engineering, design, styling, safety, power and fuel efficiency to give the best possible motoring lifestyle experience in the driver or owner’s very first Volkswagen. As the heritage of the iconic Polo has now been passed to the Santana, the Santana becomes the ideal sub-compact sedan for young families and young professionals on their way to the top.

The Santana is powered by an efficient 1.4-liter Multi-Point Injection (MPI) 4-cylinder gasoline engine mated to a 5-speed manual transmission, with maximum power output of 90 Ps at 5,500rpm and maximum torque of 132 Nm at 3,800rpm. The Santana features power outer mirrors, keyless entry and the longest wheelbase in its class – translating to more space and ride comfort for its occupants. Safety highlights include ISOFIX anchorage points (mounting fixture for two child seats on rear seat bench), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), immobilizer and front airbags.

The Santana 1.4-liter MPI with 5-speed manual transmission retails for P686,000, which makes it the most accessibly priced premium sub-compact sedans with world-class German automotive engineering and design — a young professional’s gateway to his or her first Volkswagen car.

The aftersales and warranty coverage of the Santana also enables CW Home Depot’s driven sales achievers to focus more on delighting their own customers, thus making them excel more in their work. The periodic maintenance service (PMS) interval schedule for the Santana is just once a year, or every 10,000 kms, whichever comes first. This is more convenient and more cost-efficient compared to the industry-standard 5,000-km PMS interval.

The warranty coverage is comprehensive. Aside from the 3 years or 100,000-km general warranty, whichever comes first, Volkswagen Philippines also offers a 3-year warranty for paint and another 3-year warranty for through-corrosion of the main steel body structure.

With the total 17 Volkswagen vehicles CW Home Depot has acquired, 17 of the store’s hardworking executives, managers, and top sales achievers also received the promise that with Volkswagen, Your Drive Just Got Better. But more than its individual employees’ personal achievements, these Volkswagen vehicles translate to a guarantee that with the premium Volkswagen brand, CW Home Depot’s fleet management Just Got Better. And like the the easy accessibility of CW Home Depot’s unique, yet world-class products and services, so too, are Volkswagen vehicles’ timeless designs, legendary safety, and German engineering, translating to that unique motoring lifestyle. It’s What Makes A Volkswagen, A Volkswagen.
