FOTON Motor Philippines, Inc. (FMPI) has expanded its program with BPI Family Savings Bank to now include financing solutions for purchases of Foton’s heavy-duty trucks, particularly models with 10 wheels. Previously, only the brand’s passenger vehicles and light-duty trucks were included in the program.
Foton said the development is designed to provide bank financing to logistics and freight companies which need to control expenditures.
“Our brand’s promise is to empower businesses. From this, our team does the best in providing notable services from pre-purchase, actual sale and after-sales. This includes the worry-free experience of our clients in availing our products at the lowest price possible,” said FMPI president Rommel Sytin.
The executive added the new program is guaranteed to offer more flexible payment schemes, affordable packages and faster application processes and approval.
BPI Family Savings Bank first vice-president and retail lending group head Dennis T. Fronda explained the agreement allows clients to have their vehicle “funded in ways that best suits their circumstances.”
“Our interest rates are fixed for the duration of the agreement [the client] opts for, allowing [them] to plan finances moving forward with certainty,” he said.
Foton said it produces vehicles that address local transportation needs and which are durable, dependable, accessible and capable of withstanding challenging business operations. This is the reason Foton was recognized as among the top three best-selling truck brands in the Philippines last year, the company said.
While expressing hope that the expanded program will convince businesses to invest in trucks and logistics, Sytin said he is also grateful to BPI Family Savings Bank for trusting the Foton brand.
“We hope that our institutions would remain aligned and bonded with the same vision: to be instruments of the Filipinos’ success through our products and services,” Sytin said.
