Chevrolet names best dealerships, personnel

CHEVROLET Makati was named dealer of the year for Metro Manila while Chevrolet Iloilo took the same honors in the regional category in the Chevrolet Grandmasters event held on May 24.

The distributor of Chevrolet in the Philippines, The Covenant Car Company, Inc. (TCCCI), explained the annual Chevrolet Grandmasters recognizes the best-performing dealerships and their personnel in terms of sales, service and after-sales.

“Ten years ago, TCCCI endeavored to reignite the passion for Chevrolet. And today, we recognize the remarkable achievement of the entire Chevrolet dealer network and acknowledge the exceptional work of our 2018 Grandmasters who continue to perform towards achieving this objective,” said Alberto B. Arcilla, TCCCI president and chief executive officer in a speech delivered during the event.

Vanchana Unakul, general director for General Motors Southeast Asia Distributor Operations, said; “The Philippines is an important market for Chevrolet and General Motors is committed to continue supporting TCCCI and its dealer network in continuing the growth of Chevrolet in the Philippines.”

Named as service technician of the year was Carlo R. Manalo of Chevrolet Greenhills – EDSA; parts consultant of the year was Jenelyn A. Dabuco of Chevrolet Cebu Mandaue; service advisor of the year was Omar C. Manalang of Chevrolet Tarlac; aftersales manager of the year was Ramiro G. Valladarez of Chevrolet Greenhills – EDSA; customer relations officer of the year was Ginally G. Estrellado of Chevrolet Batangas; sales administrator of the year was Jacqueline Jane S. Rojo of Chevrolet Makati; sales consultant of the year was Loreto L. Baranda, Jr. of Chevrolet Makati; group retail manager of the year was Ramilo B. Timpad of Chevrolet Cagayan de Oro; general sales manager of the year was Stepfanie Marie F. Wong of Chevrolet Iloilo; and dealer operator of the year was William Irwin I. Tieng of Chevrolet Makati.

Meanwhile, emerging as best in dealer facilities was Chevrolet Cebu Mandaue; best in marketing was Chevrolet Makati; best in customer service – purchase and delivery satisfaction was Chevrolet Makati; best in customer service – service satisfaction survey was Chevrolet Tarlac; best in service (regional) was Chevrolet Cebu Mandaue; best in service (Metro Manila) was Chevrolet Greenhills – EDSA; best in parts (regional) was Chevrolet Cebu Mandaue; best in parts (Metro Manila) was Chevrolet Pasig; best in sales (regional) was Chevrolet Iloilo; and best in sales (Metro Manila) was Chevrolet Makati.
