AUTOKID Truck Solutions announced it is now the premier distributor of Dongfeng trucks in the Philippines as a result of a partnership with Dongfeng Automotive Co., Ltd. (DFAC) and Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Co., Ltd (DFCV).

Autokid said it now carries a range of light-, medium- and heavy-duty trucks that address the needs of various local businesses.

The company said the Dongfeng Captain series is meant for light-duty purposes. The trucks have modern interiors, smart safety and driving features, and efficient Euro4 engines. The trucks can come in drop-side, aluminum van, refrigerated van, FB-type, double cabin and mini-dump, boom-type and other body options.

Autokid said the Dongfeng KR is for medium-duty requirements. The KR features a Cummins or Yuchai engine. It addresses urban and intercity transport, as well as construction jobs. It comes in cargo, dump, cement mixer and boom-type body options.

The Dongfeng KL is for heavy-duty logistical needs, Autokid said. The KL is a 10-wheeler tractor head that’s equipped with smart safety and driving features, and a powerful 380hp Cummins Euro5 engine. It is available in tractor head or cargo truck variants.

The Dongfeng KC Dump Truck is designed for heavy-duty construction jobs. It is equipped with a solid chassis and a 375hp Cummins engine. The KC can be adapted for heavy construction site use, mining operations and other off-road and heavy-duty missions, Autokid said.

For other business requirements, the company said it has an existing lineup of Dongfeng trucks that can be reconfigured to match special purpose vehicle (SPV) needs.

Besides launching the new trucks, Autokid also announced its commitment to constantly improve after-sales services.
