Which malls will Volkswagen tour this July?

THE Volkswagen Santana, Lavida and Tiguan will be displayed in two malls on two separate dates this month.

Volkswagen Philippines said the Santana MPI M/T, Santana 180 MPI A/T SE, Lavida 230 TSI DSG SE and Tiguan 280 TSI DSG SE will be displayed at the Palm Drive of the Glorietta Activity Center in Makati City on July 6 and 7.

The Santana MPI M/T and Lavida 230 TSI DSG SE will be displayed at the Main Atrium of SM City Pampanga in from July 20 to 26.

Each Volkswagen featured in the mall displays “takes its intended owner and driver into a premium driving motoring lifestyle that truly defines ‘What Makes Volkswagen, A Volkswagen’,” according to Volkswagen Philippines.

It added the Santana can be considered as a customer’s “first best car.” The Santana MPI M/T is powered by a 1.4-liter, multipoint injection, four-cylinder gasoline engine mated to a five-speed manual transmission. The Santana 180 MPI A/T SE is more powerful with its 1.5-liter, four-cylinder gasoline engine with BlueMotion Technology. Paired to the engine is a six-speed automatic transmission.

The Santana MPI M/T’s price starts at P686,000, the Santana 180 AT SE’s at P898,000. A dealer-installed option for the Santana is the Blaupunkt infotainment system that has a seven-inch capacitive touchscreen radio, Android OS with built-in apps, CD, DVD, USB and Bluetooth and mirror-link connectivity.

The Lavida 230 TSI DSG SE has a 1.4-liter, four-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine with BlueMotion Technology. The engine is matched to a seven-speed Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG) transmission. The car’s interior features include leather seats, cruise control, Climatronic air-conditioning, push-button start and a sunroof. The Lavida’s price starts at P1.171 million.

The Tiguan 280 TSI DSG SE has a 1.4-liter four-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine with BlueMotion Technology. The engine is mated to a six-speed DSG transmission. The car’s interior features include “Vienna” leather seats, dual-zone Climatronic air-conditioning, a panoramic sunroof, eight speakers and a 12-way power adjustment for the driver’s seat. The Tiguan sells for P1.648 million.

Volkswagen Philippines said the periodic maintenance service interval for Volkswagen models is once a year, or every 10,000 kilometers, whichever comes first. The general warranty for all models is three years, or 100,000 kilometers. A three-year warranty coverage for paint and another three-year warranty coverage for through-corrosion of the main steel body structure are offered, too. All models can avail of a 24/7 emergency roadside assistance package that includes towing services, removal of vehicle, vehicle recovery, fuel delivery, battery jump-start, lock-out services and flat-tire services.
