CLEARLY, Foton Motor Philippines, Inc. (FMPI) is continuously expanding its network — the company on July 3 inaugurated its 29th dealership, Foton Metro Clark.

The new dealership is located on McArthur Highway in Dau, Mabalacat, Pampanga. It houses a showroom accommodating passenger vehicles and light-duty trucks, modern service bays, and an area for after-sales services.

Foton Metro Clark is the nearest to FMPI’s 11-hectare vehicle assembly plant in Pampanga. It is also the first Foton dealership to be managed by the Laus Group of Companies, one of the largest and fastest growing multibrand automotive networks in the Philippines.

Laus Group of Companies chairman and CEO Lisset Laus-Velasco said the group chose Foton for its “vast product lineup” designed for both personal and business use.

“What we endeavor to do today and plan to sustain in the years ahead is the continuation of the trenchant vision and advocacy of our late father, Mr. Levy Laus. That is, growth and development in the countryside, a dream he started putting into reality some 40 years ago. Today, Foton now properly belongs to that vision,” Laus-Velasco said.

For his part, Foton Philippines president Rommel Sytin said; “Having Laus Auto Group as one of our dealer partners is considered as a major milestone for Foton. This also conveys that Foton already has what it takes to join the list of the Philippines’ most-trusted automotive brands.”

The mayor of Mabalacat, Pampanga, Crisostomo Garbo, said; “Through the years, I’ve witnessed how Foton has improved and soared in the province of Pampanga. Right now, you’re doing great but in the long run, I believe you’ll do even better.”

Sytin added “Pampanga is a home to me” because its people make him feel that way. “This is where I saw a great potential in terms of economic development and various business options, so we decided to make Pampanga the site of our biggest investment so far — the FMPI Assembly Plant.”
