Spurring the growth of transport, logistics industry
Transport and logistics industries may both be regarded as major backbones of the country’s economy. Today, virtually everyone and every business—from your neighborhood sari-sari store to the largest retail chains—needs transport and logistics in a direct or an indirect manner.
“What many people don’t realize is that if transport and logistics were to disappear, the entire economy would screech to a halt rather quickly. In fact, these industries play significant roles in the current administrations’ ‘Build, Build, Build’ program from the commercial vehicles that transport materials, goods and services to the ongoing program to drastically modernize the country’s public transport system,’’ says Nerza del Rosario, Country Manager of AMB Tarsus Philippines that organizes the biggest gathering of transport and logistics industry every year.
The only event that brings together all the stakeholders in the transport and logistics industry, this year’s event will happen from July 24 to 26 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.
