A THREE-pronged approach in addressing after-sales services is what MG Philippines aims to communicate to MG owners.
The company assured MG vehicles purchased from MG Philippines have available spare parts. It added the Mobile Garage service caravan has already been launched, as well as the My MG App, which allows owners to book schedules for periodic maintenance servicing online.
“Our initiative is to provide innovative and customer-centric services to our clients as we recognize that after-sales is a cornerstone of our business here at MG Philippines,” said MG Philippines president and CEO Alberto Arcilla. “Through our many after-sales complements, we want to make customers feel at ease with their purchase. Likewise, our after-sales services are designed and implemented to create a sense of confidence among our patrons, reassuring them that they made the right choice with MG Philippines.”
MG Philippines said all its dealerships are stocked with spare parts, and that manning these are MG-trained technicians who are accredited to perform the necessary maintenance on MG models.
The company explained the Mobile Garage can send an MG service team to a customer whose vehicle may require repairs or services at home. The Mobile Garage service covers Metro Manila, Northern Luzon and Southern Luzon. It will soon be offered in areas in the Visayas and Mindanao, MG Philippines said.
It added the My MG App allows clients to schedule vehicle servicing appointments at their choice of MG Philippines-authorized service center. The app has a smartphone-based dealership location tool and also lets customers inquire about parts availability and service, schedule test drives and list their vehicle’s maintenance history.
In a related development, MG Philippines bared there are now nine fully functioning dealerships and two regional sales offices — all with after-sales service capabilities — across the country. Another six full dealerships are scheduled to open by the end of 2019.
