ISUZU Philippines Corp. (IPC) announced it turned over to Solid Trend Trade Sales, Inc. of the Excel Trend Group of Companies seven Isuzu D-Max pickups and one QKR truck at the Maxxis Tyre office in Paranaque City.
The vehicles were turned over on August 2 during a simple ceremony.
Excel Trend Group of Companies is the exclusive distributor of Maxxis, CST and Michelin tires in the Philippines.
“We are very honored to be providing the Excel Trend Group of Companies their latest Isuzu D-Max and QKR. We believe that this is going to be the first step toward an upgraded logistic system of Solid Trend Trade Sales, Inc.,” said IPC vice president Yasuhiko Oyama during the turnover program.
Jaybee Atanacio, sales director at Excel Trend Group of Companies, said the Isuzu vehicles will play key roles in the company’s efficient operations.
“We chose Isuzu because we believe in a product that provides durability and at the same time fuel efficiency. This, in turn, makes our company perform better and cuts cost in our operations.”
Atanacio disclosed the D-Max will be used by the fleet sales group and regional managers in Luzon and Mindanao for their fieldwork and customer visits.
IPC said the D-Max has Blue Power-developed engines, truck-levels of strength, durability and rigidity with its high-tensile steel frame chassis, and also meets ASEAN safety standards. The QKR truck has a 4JH1-TC Euro4-compliant Blue Power engine and a reinforced chassis that can carry up to four tons of cargo.
“We thank the Excel Trend Group of Companies for trusting IPC in providing them their first fleet of Isuzu vehicles. We are confident that aside from providing a more durable and reliable transport and logistics solution, we also guarantee that we will be providing the best service assistance they need,” Oyama said.
