THE distributor of Subaru in the Philippines said it has shipped in more units of the Subaru Forester i-S Eyesight into the country to address the months-long waiting time of customers. The model is built in Japan.

Motor Image Pilipinas (MIP) said it has not met consumer demand for the Forester i-S EyeSight since the model’s launch in January. Customers have to wait for up to two months before being served, the company said.

The Forester i-S Eyesight is equipped with Subaru’s four core technologies: 2.0 boxer engine, symmetrical all-wheel drive, EyeSight driver assist technology and Subaru’s new global platform. The model also boasts of Subaru’s new version of X-Mode, allowing it to traverse challenging terrain.

The Forester i-S Eyesight sells for P1.828 million.

MIP said it is offering exclusive deals on select models this August.
