TRANSPORT Secretary Arthur Tugade reiterated his requirement for companies to be chosen to work on Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) projects to adopt a 24/7 working scheme.
Tugade said this during a meeting today between the Department of Transportation (DOTr) and officials from the World Bank and the French Development Agency.
The meeting centered on updates on the Quezon Avenue and the Cebu BRT projects, according to the DOTr. The Cebu BRT project forms part of the Cebu Integrated Intermodal Transport System.
The transport department said the World Bank during the meeting offered to train DOTr personnel on urban transport to enhance their knowledge and understanding in the management and operation of transportation projects.
