Forester i-S Eyesight now fully stocked

More than enough supply to address local demand

Since its launch last January, the top of the line Forester model—now equipped with i-S EyeSight Driver Assist technology—could barely meet the demands of customers for the first half of the year, requiring them to wait two months for the delivery.

To address this, Motor Image Pilipinas, Inc., the exclusive distributor of Subaru brand of vehicles in the Philippines, announce it just shipped in more units of the much coveted Forester i-S EyeSight.

Motor Image Pilipinas announced that with the arrival of the new stock, the Japan-made model will now be more than enough to address the demand.

The Forester i-S Eyesight retails for P1.828 million and is readily available nationwide.

Subaru’s EyeSight, that now come standard on the new fifth-generation Forester, is now improved and performs a number of functions including forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning and lead vehicle start alert. It also includes pedestrian detection, enabling the system to brake automatically for pedestrians in addition to other vehicles it detects in the vehicle’s path.

The system uses two stereo cameras mounted inside the vehicle near the top of the windshield. In other markets, it has been found that with the EyeSight, crashed could now be eliminated effectively.

Aside from the EyeSight technology, the all-new Forester i-S Eyesight is also equipped with Subaru’s other core technologies—2.0 Boxer Engine, Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, and Subaru’s new Global Platform.

Subaru’s flat, horizontally-opposed engine layout lowers Subaru vehicle’s center of gravity providing incredible stability and handling while maximizing the transfer of power.

On the other hand, Subaru’s Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive provides unparalleled traction as it sends power to all four wheels resulting to road-hugging ride in even the harshest conditions and keeping the driver in total control.

Complementing the Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive is the X-Mode (which is available in the Forester i-S EyeSight) that allows the driver to take the road less travelled, get muddier and have more daring adventures.

On the other hand, the Subaru Global Platform advances overall safety and performance of the vehicle with a new body and chassis design. With higher rigidity of the frame, impacts could be absorbed more effectively while the elevated height that the body provides improves comfort and visibility.

The all-new Forester i-S Eyesight is also equipped with Subaru’s other core technologies— 2.0 Boxer Engine, Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, and Subaru’s new Global Platform.
