LOOK: The 12th bespoke Rolls-Royce Cullinan for Michael Fux

August 29,2019

RENOWNED car collector Michael Fux has received his 12th bespoke Rolls-Royce called “Cullinan in Fux Orange.” The commissioned car was presented at the recent The Quail and Monterey Car Week in California. Handing over the car to Fux was Rolls-Royce chief executive Torsten Muller-Otvos.

Rolls-Royce described the color of the Cullinan as a “bright hue inspired by a ladies’ wrap” which Fux saw in South Florida.

It added the bespoke design and color development team at the Home of Rolls-Royce, Goodwood worked with Fux for more than a year to perfect the shade. More than seven layers of paint, polished by hand for multiple hours, were applied at the carmaker’s Surface Finish Center.

Rolls-Royce said that of the 12 bespoke cars owned by Fux, 10 are finished in his “own” color — the most for any other patron of the brand. These colors can only be used in other cars if the client permits it.

Fux’s Rolls-Royce cars with bespoke colors are:

  • Fux Orange Cullinan
  • Fux Fuxia Pearl Phantom
  • Fux Fuxia Dawn
  • Fux Blue Candy Dawn
  • Fux Intense Jade Pearl Phantom
  • Fux Aequus Green Jade Pearl Wraith
  • Fux White Ghost
  • Fux Purple Candy Phantom Drophead Coupe
  • Fux Red Candy Phantom Drophead Coupe
  • Fux Yellow Phantom Drophead Coupe
