MG Philippines to introduce new subcompact at Cebu Auto Show

MG PHILIPPINES announced it is taking part in this year’s Cebu Auto Show (CAS), where it will also introduce the MG 5 subcompact sedan.

“This is our first time to be part of the Cebu Auto Show and we are excited to offer an exclusive inaugural look at our newest model. . . to all our valuable patrons in Cebu,” said MG Philippines president and CEO Alberto B. MG said the 5 subcompact “finds itself situated in the largest and most competitive automotive segment in the Philippines and is a newcomer among some of the country’s most popular models.”

It added the 5 is a compelling option because of its safety features, modern styling, British heritage and numerous variants coming in attainable price tags.

After-sales services coming with the 5 include a five-year, or 100,000-kilometer warranty, as well as free periodic maintenance service for a year. MG owners can also download the My MG mobile app which allows them to schedule vehicle servicing appointments via smartphones. The Mobile Garage service caravan also provides MG owners with vehicle home servicing for technical issues while MG Hero Services offers 24/7 roadside support.

The 2019 CAS is scheduled on September 13-15 at the Skyhall of SM Seaside City Cebu.
