Foton showers buyers with savings at truck show

September 19,2019

FOTON Motor Philippines, Inc. (FMPI) has just concluded what it said was its biggest truck sale in Metro Manila.

Held on September 12 and 13 at the Megatent Events Venue in Libis, Quezon City was the Foton Big AtTRUCKtion, which offered test-drives, cash discounts, accessible financing schemes from partner banks, and PMS bundles with vehicle purchases.

Foton said its biggest truck sale of the year was opened by FMPI vice chairman Kenneth Sytin, Anna Dominique Sytin, Nicole Sytin, Department of Transportation undersecretary for road transport and Infrastructure Mark de Leon and Foton International Group representative Eric Zhang.

All the vehicles exhibited during the event are powered by the brand’s Blue Energy Euro4-compliant, turbocharged, intercooled Cummins ISF diesel engines fitted with Bosch common rail direct fuel injection and electronic gas recirculation exhaust systems. The technologies are found in Foton passenger vehicles, as well as in light- to heavy-duty trucks.

The trucks come in different body configurations like the F-Van and MPV for passengers, and the drop-side, dump truck, double cab, crane truck, transit mixer, wing van and tractor head. For micro-, small and medium enterprises, the Gratour series, represented by the eight-seat MiniVan and Gratour M/T, were exhibited.

Besides commercial vehicles, Foton also displayed its bestselling passenger vans like the TransVan, Traveller and Toano. The company also exhibited its upgraded Thunder 4×2 A/T pickup.

FMPI noted that despite the gloomy weather during the event, guests still took the chance to test-drive the trucks and experience their riding comfort and functions.

To avail of exclusive zero down-payment offers, low monthly deals, truck test-drives and cash discounts of up to P300,000, FMPI said it is inviting business owners, transport operators, logistics providers and families to visit the Big AtTRUCKtion North Luzon leg scheduled on September 26 and 27 at San Fernando Town Plaza in La Union; the Mindanao leg set on October 9 and 10 at Kauswagan Highway in Cagayan De Oro; and the Visayas leg that happens on October 18 and 19 at SM City Cebu Event Center.
