It also has Current Source priority function, wherein it will supply power to critical equipment directly from the alternator when the engine is running. This ensures that critical functions like starters, radios, emergency lights, and communication systems will always have the power needed.

The Smartpass 120 can also assist in starting up your engine if the starter battery is flat by drawing power from the service battery. And with battery temperature protection, it switches off charging when the service battery gets too hot.
