2020 Porsche Cayenne is not your ordinary SUV

The 2020 Porsche Cayenne is a mid-sized SUV that can take on any sports car in the market today. Packing a 3.0L V6 powerplant that churns out 340 hp (250Kw) at 5300 – 6400 rpm, with 450 Nm of torque, mated with a 8 speed tiptronic S gearbox, the 2020 Porsche Cayenne is not your ordinary SUV.

Aided by its exceptional handling and acceleration, the 2020 Cayenne far surpasses rivals in its segment. This front engined, four wheel drive SUV, accelerates from 0-100 km/h, in only 6.2 seconds, and with a top speed of 245 km/h the 2020 Porsche Cayenne is truly a joy to drive. Nothing can take the silly smile from face as you go through the gears, going ever faster than you have imagined an SUV can go. Quite simply, it is pure driving bliss, packaged in an SUV platform.

The interior of the Cayenne is so well-appointed that even a jaded enthusiast will agree that it does not stray far from the true heritage of the brand. Packed with enough modern day features to assist the driver, but, not too much to dilute the experience. While the interior is mostly wrapped in leather, the tactile quality one gets is of pure luxury, comfortable 8-way power seats seats conform to your body, cradling you ever so snugly. The new center console display is big, measuring about 12 inches across, comes with direct touch control, Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with navigation mode. An optional BOSE surround sound system complements the infotainment unit.

The Cayenne has an electric parking brake, with automatic hold function, park assists for the front and rear, and, auto start/stop function that saves much needed fuel, and emissions, for when you sit in traffic. Also standard on the Porsche Cayenne are LED main headlights, 19 inch alloy wheels, and, LED interior lighting. Fuel consumtion tops at 11.3-11.1 liter / 100 km (urban) and 8.0 – 7.9 liter / 100 km (extra urban). Stopping this SUV are four piston monobloc aluminum fixed calipers up front, while a 2 piston monobloc aluminum brakes are found at the rear; with internally vented brake discs for the front and rear.
