Mazda Premium Experience today at BGC
Just in time for Christmas and all those family and friendly gatherings, not to mention your bonus, Mazda has launched two new crossovers, the CX-30 and three-row CX-8, both 2020 models. The two new cars, as well as the rest of lineup, will be on display until today at the Mazda Premium Experience zone located at the Bonifacio High Street Big Bear Oval.
The Mazda CX-30 is the second model of its new-generation lineup and part of its core model. It was revealed just this year at the Geneva International Motor Show. The CX-30 is a compact crossover that leans heavily on Mazda’s Kodo design language. Its design philosophy is “charge and release,” as if a single brushstroke renders the car’s sweep from front to rear. Its aim is to energize the driver before he steps into the car.
The CX-30 is powered by a 2.0-liter engine with 153hp and 200Nm mated to an automatic transmission. All-wheel drive is available. The CX-30 starts at just below P1.5 million.
Mazda says that the cabin comfortably seats four, and is easy to drive, thanks to its increased ride height and compact dimensions. Skyactiv Vehicle Architecture enhances the vehicle's acceleration, cornering, and braking attributes.
The all-new CX-8 joins the CX-9 as a three-row crossover SUV comfortably seating seven adults. Compared to pick-up based vehicles, the CX-8 offers more responsive driving performance, and a quieter and more comfortable ride. The CX-8’s interior has a premium design executed with plush materials, giving it a luxurious feel. Even with the third row in use, the CX-8 has enough space for four carry-on bags.
The CX-8 Signature features seven seats in a three-row configuration. The CX-8 Exclusive has a more luxury-oriented seating configuration with six seats. The second-row captain's chairs are separated by an armrest-equipped console. This allows the second-row passengers to experience the same comfort and convenience as the front row people.
“Mazda simply has the best-looking vehicle lineup in the country today. And what better way for car buyers to see, feel and drive them in one go than at this weekend’s Mazda Premium Experience,” shares Mikko David, Senior Manager for Marketing and PR of Mazda Philippines.
“Mazda customers can experience and feel for themselves the premium difference in design, interior quality and driving feel of the Mazda car and crossover range this weekend. Aside from just driving Mazda vehicles around BGC, we will have an in-depth tour of the new Mazda design philosophy as well as showcase the superior craftsmanship and class-leading safety technologies that can be found in our latest models for those who visit the display. The weekend promises to be an enlightening first-hand experience with Mazda for car buyers who value quality and driving fulfillment.”
