Multi award-winning photographer/videographer and Inquirer Motoring writer Ardie Lopez felt a tug in heart to do his part in the relief efforts for the recent Taal eruption evacuees so he did what he does best.
Lopez conducted a smartphone photography and videography workshop last Saturday at CW Home Depot’s seminar room and used all the proceeds collected from the workshop fees and started a relief fund.
Dubbed as “Shooting for a Cause,” other brands and companies pitched in, including power bank and data storage brand Mili PH, Formula One tour operator Red Rock Travel Agency, and Mazda Philippines which lent a vehicle for the photo shoot.
From portrait photo tips and lessons, he also taught how to do macro photography using miniature diecast cars. Aside from the classroom session, Ardie also took the participants to the roof deck parking of Ortigas Technopoint Realty (CW Home Depot’s real estate company), for some outdoor photography lessons. The magnificent Ortigas District sunset skyline provided the perfect backdrop for the session.
