Hyundai aggressive dealer expansion underway with Baguio added to the network
Hyundai Asia Resources, Inc. (HARI) has opened a new dealership in Baguio City, a move that is aligned with Hyundai’s grand vision for 2020 and beyond.
“We dedicate Hyundai Baguio City to driving the city’s sustainability through our excellent lineup of current and soon-to-come innovations. Count on Hyundai to contribute to the restoration and preservation of the City of Pines,” said HARI president and CEO, Ma. Fe Perez-Agudo. “We want more and more Filipinos to experience the next level of Hyundai mobility.”
Hyundai Baguio City will be managed by Grit Motors Corp. that takes pride in its being a pioneer Hyundai PC dealership in Cordillera Administrative Region. “Grit is our main message. This is what Hyundai Baguio stands for. Blessed with supportive family, friends, and colleagues, we shall work with grit and grace, excellence and honesty, to make Hyundai No. 1 in Baguio,” said dealer principal, Archimedes Go.
He assured that the new dealership will offer car buyers of the region, a fresh take on excellence in mobility, service, and worry-free ownership.
Joining Ms Agudo and Go in showroom inauguration were Speaker Alan Peter S. Cayetano of the House of Representatives, Rep. Marquez O. Go of Baguio City, HARI Chairman Emeritus Richard L. Lee, and Grit Motors Corp. president Soledad Go.
Hyundai Baguio City showroom complies with Hyundai Motor Company’s Global Dealership Space Identity (GDSI) standards, which incorporates the Korean automaker’s global unified design while mirroring and complementing its top-performing vehicles, such as the Reina, Accent, Kona, Tucson, Grand Starex, and Santa Fe.
HARI hinted that Hyundai Baguio City, located along C. M. Recto St., will just be the first of many dealerships that will soon open around the country, all of them set to showcase the latest in Hyundai’s innovative mobility solutions lineup this year.
Hyundai Baguio City is part of HARI’s aggressive passengers car and commercial vehicle network expansion into the country’s high growth corridors.
Last year, HARI sold 33,763 units (full-year figures) and generated 2.9 percent growth in December versus the same month in 2018, enabling it to maintain its position in the market as one of the top automotive brands in the Philippine market.
