Standard Insurance extends post-Taal complimentary car care service

Call the Standard Insurance Customer Hotline at (02)8845-1111 for assessment and scheduling of the car care service.

Following the recent Taal volcanic eruption that brought extreme ashfall in south Luzon and Metro Manila, Standard Insurance provided complimentary Post Ashfall Car Care Service to all motorcar customers with Acts of Nature (AON) cover.

The service includes basic internal and external detailing, checking and cleaning of air resonator and air filter, and engine wash. The service started on Jan. 19, and is extended until Feb. 15, 2020.

“We’ve noticed that it’s only recently that affected customers are cleaning up and recovering from the impact of the Taal eruption. For this reason, we want to give them enough time to take care of their valuable assets; that is why we have extended the time for them to avail of the complimentary service,” said Edena Enfestan, head of claims.

Similar to what Standard Insurance did after Tropical Storm “Ondoy” in 2009, this service is part of the company’s effort to assist in protecting its customers’ property. As climate change escalates the incidence of catastrophes, Standard Insurance will be quick in anticipating the needs of its customers.
