Pampanga is a foodie’s haven and what better reason to visit Peugeot Philippines’ newest dealership in San Fernando, Pampanga.
Peugeot Philippines organized a media drive dubbed as “Bonne Route et Appetit,” with a ride-and-drive trip to Pampanga featuring its current product line-up, the 3008 SUV and the 5008 SUV. It gave the participants a chance to try out these two best-selling models.
The trip started off from its Peugeot Pasig showroom and the group had a pleasant two-hour drive to the newest and latest Peugeot showroom up north, owned by the Laus Group. The Laus Group is the biggest multi-brand car dealership group in Northern Luzon, with 17 car brands and close to 70 dealer showrooms spread across Luzon. “They are the perfect partners for us in Peugeot,” said Dong Magsajo, Peugeot Philippines’ Business Development Director.
He further added that because of the Laus family ties with many industries and businesses specially in the province of Pampanga and many parts of Northern Luzon, they (Peugeot PH) were fortunate to have the group represent the French premium car brand.
At the San Fernando dealership, the group was greeted by Champs Automobile Resources Corp.’s executive director, Carisa Laus, one of the scions of the Laus empire in Pampanga. After a short meet-and-greet the group headed out to lunch at The Souq, Pampanga. It is one of San Fernando’s popular dining places and this rustic restaurant is where all the signature dishes of Pampanga can be found.
Why is Peugeot enjoying a resurgence in the local market? Magsajo was quick to explain that because these vehicles are now assembled in Malaysia, they can now afford to adjust our pricing to make it much more competitive, and at the same time shorten delivery time to about a month’s period. “Right now, even with these conditions, we are in a situation where there is a wait-list for these two models. It is a good problem to have though.”
Adding to the better pricing offer, is Peugeot’s zero percent interest over two years payment scheme for the 3008 SUV in both diesel and petrol variants.
Previous 3008 models were imported and made in France, so there is a huge difference in pricing.
Both vehicles also come with an extended warranty package totaling five years. Peugeot is also the first brand to offer an RFID package for both North and South Luzon for each vehicle purchase. For North Luzon, the EasyTrip RFIDs allowed for quick access through the otherwise busy choke-points within the NLEX. Finally, there is the 24/7 service operation happening at Peugeot Pasig. This means that Peugeot customers can come to the showrooms any day at any time and have their cars serviced—allowing for added convenience and faster turnaround times. Peugeot Philippines is currently enjoying renewed vigor thanks to its approach of putting customer satisfaction and convenience at the forefront of its efforts.
Whether it’s driving to dining destinations like Pampanga or just bringing the family around for leisure and relaxation, Peugeot’s 3008 and 5008 SUVs should rank high among the best options available in the market.
