Drive home a Hyundai with just a click

For those not yet familiar, Lazada’s LazMall is regarded as the biggest “mall” in Southeast Asia. But unlike a regular physical mall, LazMall exists in the digital realm. Launched in August 2018, this online shopping mall offers one of the most extensive range of top-rated products.

This means online shoppers are promised greater assurance and ease of shopping as LazMall only features authentic and original/branded products. In an unlikely event that a particular product turned out to be an imitation or of poor quality, the online shopper is assured of a 15-day hassle-free return policy.

One young lady shopper found this out recently when she drove home her very first ride—a Hyundai Reina.

“I didn’t expect it to be this easy,” said 28-year old real estate professional Jennica Ann Butiong, who got the compact sedan thru a simple turnover ceremony at Hyundai Manila Bay.

“I didn’t expect that I could purchase a big ticket item in Lazada so I was glad that cars can now be purchased through online means,” shared Jennica, who regularly shops for sporting goods, makeup, and travel deals online.

Since its launch on Oct. 30, 2019 the Hyundai flagship store on LazMall has gained at least 25,000 followers and received 150,000 store visits. The flagship store offers some of Hyundai’s bestselling models including the Accent sedan, Kona crossover SUV and the Reina.

What initially caught Jennica’s eye was Lazada’s exclusive P1,000 reservation fee on the Reina (the standard reservation fee on Lazada is P5,000).

After checking out product information and reviews, she said her heart went out to the Reina’s style, affordability, and the basic safety features—the dual air bags—that she seeks in her first car.

Using the reservation coupon, Jennica finally got the car of her dreams at Hyundai Manila Bay. “My ‘Queen’ and I are now ready to go places. Being a first time car owner makes me feel empowered because it took a whole lot of decision in purchasing a big investment like this. Owning a Hyundai Reina gives me a sense of responsibility and independence. That’s what makes me a proud Hyundai owner.”
