Kia launches all-new Stonic crossover

Kia Philippines, the official importer and distributor of Kia vehicles in the country, is introducing the all-new 2021 Kia Stonic, with a “Style that is Iconic” to tickle the tastebuds of the young and trendy crossover market. Here’s the news from Kia:

First unveiled in 2017 at the Frankfurt Motor Show in Germany, the Kia Stonic immediately earned the attention of many—especially the millennial car buyers—with its stylish and hip design.

This crossover was inspired by Kia’s chief designer Peter Schreyer’s European Design Language and has shown more straight lines and smooth surfaces to provide owners a preview of what they would experience inside the vehicle.

These modern lines and edges complement the signature Tiger Nose Grille and the projector headlamps, flanked with the LED Daytime Running Lamps (which is exclusive to the EX variant) in the front fascia.

The sleek roofline has highlighted the lively hues, befitting the dynamic and chic persona of the vehicle. The top-tier EX variant sports a two-tone color option, making it more vibrant yet pleasing to the eyes.

The rear end exudes parallel charm, thanks to its fashionable tail lamps, making the vehicle stand out even during nighttime.

All these effects led to its host of global recognitions from prestigious organizations such as the iF Design and Red Dot Design Awards in 2018.

Beating cabin fever and traffic boredom will be ensured as the forthcoming Kia Stonic is fitted with an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen unit.

This entertainment package in the Kia Stonic is compatible with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, making it easier for your mobile phones to be linked to the system.

Once connected, you could Spotify your way out of heavy traffic jams, with its six speakers that produce crisp music.

Occupant safety will never be compromised once on board the Kia Stonic, with the myriad of features that prioritize the driver and the passengers.

The host of safety features includes Reverse Parking Sensors, Hill Start Assist, and Electronic Stability Control all available in the EX grade, which ensure that you and your vehicle are always out of danger.

Though big in features and in looks, the Kia Stonic is also efficient in power delivery and fuel consumption, proving that the crossover is a bang for the buck.

Its 1.4-liter 4-cylinder gasoline engine with D-CVVT (Dual Continuous Variable Valve Timing) is paired to either a five-speed manual transmission (LX MT) or a six-speed automatic transmission. These powertrain selections are designed to provide ample and efficient power—95ps for LX MT and 100ps for LX AT and EX AT.

Just like other members of the Kia Philippines’ line-up, the Kia Stonic will be offered with a five-year or 160,000-km warranty, as well as 24/7 Roadside Assistance FREE for five years!
