After a lackluster debut almost two years ago, it’s facelift time for the Toyota Corolla Altis. The new car carries a sportier look thanks to new lights, grille, and alloy wheels. The cabin has a new dark gray color scheme. LED-backlit meters, 2-DIN single-disc audio unit with aux input, auto climate control are available.
The engines, still dohc inline-fours, seem to have gotten a power boost. The 1.6 liter now sports 120 bhp / 154 Nm and the 2.0 liter, 145 bhp / 187 Nm. Toyota credits a new induction system that allows more air intake for better fuel combustion. On the gearbox side, the 2.0 now gets a CVT with paddle shifters. A six-speed manual gearbox will be available for the 1.6 liter variants.
The New Corolla Altis is available in six colors: Super White II, Silver Metallic, Medium Silver, Pearl White, Black Mica, and Beige Metallic.

The new Corolla Altis will be on sale starting September.
