Mitsubishi shows Global Small (concept) car

January 20,2011

Like a striptease artist moving in slow motion, Mitsubishi continues to trickle out details on its upcoming Global Small hatchback. This time it’s a photo of the car’s concept version, which will be shown at Geneva in March. The new car will go into battle with the Honda Brio and Toyota Etios minicars, both coming soon, as well as the Suzuki Celerio and Hyundai i10, both already on the market. The car is centered around, naturally, the characteristics of compact, affordable, and fuel efficient. Mitsu also promises comfortable seating for five adults, something not quite common in this class. A 1.0- or 1.2 liter engine with auto start/stop feature will be under the hood, paired with a CVT transmission.
