The Singapore GP Pte Ltd has announced that the Singapore Telecommunications Limited (SingTel) has agreed to extend its partnership with Formula 1 to be the title sponsor for the 2013 Formula 1  Singapore Grand Prix, with an options to renew the title sponsorship until 2017.

SingTel has been the title sponsor of the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix since the inaugural night race back in 2008. The event has helped transform the lion city into a motorsports crazy country. The Singapore GP is heralded as one of the must-attend races in the F1 calendar, and this success would not have been possible without the support of Singapore’s iconic telecom brand SingTel.

Off track, SingTel has been offering innovative technological solutions to their subscribers. Their unsurpassed reach, and various programs like 2012’s “F1 for Everyone” campaign, TV and multimedia products have enabled fans to be closer to the F1 action.  While attendees to the 2013 Formula 1 Singtel Singapore Grand Prix can look forward to another spectacular fireworks display on the 22nd of September at the Marina Bay Circuit, courtesy of SingTel.

As title sponsor, SingTel has commissioned RISIS to design the winners’ trophy depicting the country’s skyline, which captures the outline of the Marina Bay Circuit.
