In another nod to the Great Chinese Market, Nissan Motors has launched the all-new Sunny (our Sentra) at the China (Guangzhou) International Automobile Exhibition. The new car follows a “Teana Junior” styling theme, with similar large headlamps and sleek profile. The car will carry Nissan’s 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine paired with Xtronic CVT transmission. Suspension is by front MacPherson struts and torsion beam rear.
The Nissan Sunny was launched in China in 2003 and proved to be quite popular for the Nissan-Dongfeng Auto partnership. Nissan will progressively launch the sedan across 170 countries, so following Nissan Motor Philippines’ timing, we should be getting ours by 2015?
