Russ Swift returns to MIAS! His world-famous precision driving show is scheduled to run at 1:30 pm, 3:30 pm, and 5:30 pm on April 7 to 10 at MIAS, World Trade Center.
Donuts usually conjure up the mental image of fried pastry dough preferred by American policemen. But that’s not the case with ex-rally driver and world-renowned precision driver Russ Swift.
Synonymous with his multiple Guinness World Records, Russ Swift is back once again in Manila with his crowd-pleasing antics including his signature two-wheeled stunt, donut spins and tight parallel parking maneuvers. Behind the wheel of the all-new Impreza WRX STI sedan as well as other Subaru vehicles, Russ Swift is sure to leave a lasting impression through his circular tire marks and smell of burnt rubber.
Russ Swift won four British Autotest Championships as well as an International Rally in Sweden. Swift made his amazing performing stunt debut in 1988 and has been doing it ever since.
As a stickler for details, Russ will once again use Motul’s 300V in its Subaru high performance cars. With 40 years of development and racing experience, Swift’s four-day stunt driving show will get real protection and performance from the country’s only 100 percent fully synthetic motor oil. As an industry pioneer in synthetic oils, Motul’s H-TEC 100 and 300V was developed to provide lubrication for modern day sophisticated engines, while assuring fuel savings and automotive efficiency.
For the second year in a row, Starfire is the official tire for the Russ Swift Precision show while Concept One will be the official wheels for the first time. Distributed by Wheel Gallery, Managing Director Sammy Liuson confirmed its participation with MIAS and Motor Image right after last year’s sellout crowd at MIAS 2010. With the objective of subjecting these tires to extreme driving conditions like the donut and parallel parking maneuvers, Liuson believes that the proving grounds of the stunt show is a statement of confidence on how Starfire tires can stand hard wear and tear conditions. “Even on small tire sizes, its 16-inch tires contains silica in its rubber compounds, which is normally found in bigger ultra high performance tires, offering superior grip even in wet surfaces.” said Liuson. The Manila International Auto Show 2011 is slated on April 7 to 10, 2011 at the World Trade Center, Pasay City. For more info and details visit www.manilaautoshow.com
