The new Kia Rio was not on the stands at Detroit, so the Korean company has instead released some sketches on the upcoming car. Kia’s design boss Peter Schreyer calls it “sporty and elegant,” with a swept back profile. He also promises a larger-feeling, better-quality interior.
Kia says that more consumers are into downsizing, and the Rio should help make the switch to a smaller car “more comfortable.” The Rio will debut at Geneva on March 1.
