Michelin Philippines has launched the Primacy 3 ST tire, reportedly designed and developed for Asia Pacific’s extreme roads and weather conditions. A passenger car tire, the Primacy 3 ST’s primary attributes are safety, silence, comfort, and high mileage.
Its technology provides shorter braking distance of 2.9 meters on wet roads compared with other brands. Durability is also extended by 25 percent compared to its predecessor tire. Its multiple-sized tread blocks spread noise across a frequency range less perceptible to human hearing. Shock-absorbing sidewalls and noise filtering rubber also improve the comfort factor, especially when run on uneven road surfaces.
“Michelin conducted preliminary studies and tests on more than the distance of 1.3 million kilometers. MICHELIN then spent 18 months designing, developing and deploying those research findings to produce the Michelin Primacy 3 ST in our factories here in Thailand.” said Michelin Philippines Chief Representative Michael Nunag.
