MAN Introduces Redesigned Truck and Bus Models

The MAN Redesigned event was held to introduce the newly redesigned MAN Truck and Bus brand to the Philippine market last July 13, 2013 (Saturday) at the Clamshell Tent, Intramuros, Manila. The event, led by MAN Automotive Concessionaires Corporation (MACC), aimed to increase the brand awareness here in the Philippines with their newly redesigned “lion”—MAN as a more aggressive and tough brand.

Alongside the launching of the redesigned logo were the display of the brand new MAN units all designed to meet clients needs. All operating with the best features all MAN has to offer, the units on display: the Luxe Bus, runs on a German-made MAN A55 18.310 chassis, D2866 rear engine with air bag suspension, ABS, built-in speed limiters and other safety MAN standard features– perfect for commercial or personal use, trusted to take you to different destinations safely and comfortably. The New TGS 26.360 Tractor and Rigid trucks, both run to Euro3 engines, are complete with all the necessary and highly advanced MAN features such as Exhaust Valve Brake (EVB), Electronic Diesel Control (EDC), Speed Limiters, ABS and MAN BrakeMatic. All of which are easy to diagnose and troubleshoot just by connecting them to MAN CATS system—efficient and effective.

“For the buses we will be introducing a very elegant and classic design for buses and for the trucks we will have a fiercer lion, which denotes being steadfast, being persistent, and being dynamic,” said Mr. Ferdinand Lu, Managing Director of MACC.

To celebrate years of partnership and gratitude to their Filipino market, the event managed by Icon International Events Productions Corporation, led by Director Willie Aquino, was supported by MAN Asia Pacific’s top team: President and CEO, Mr. William Lee; Sales Management head for buses Christian Schuf; Sales Management for trucks Beng Keat Phuah; and Managing director for MAN truck and bus Malaysia, Michal Luberadzki.

The event also marks the celebration of MAN servicing the Philippine market for more than 49 years and their ongoing growth and development towards becoming the ultimate leader in commercial vehicles. Expressing his appreciation to their Filipino customers after the promising results of the Customer Retention/Satisfaction Surveys for the last two years with both Sales & After Sales Satisfaction Indices being the top two in the whole of Asia, Mr. William Lee guarantees, “All measures are being taken to ensure that customers in the Philippines have the highest customer satisfaction.”
