Oh, tartar sauce! Toyota is partnering with Nickelodeon to create what will be, depending on your fondness for yellow sponges, a fun summer vehicle, or your worst nightmare. The vehicle is the Spongebob Highlander, and it will feature a custom SpongeBob SquarePants themed exterior and interior design. The car was unveieled in San Diego (but at the Padres vs Giants game, not at Comic-con), and it will then go across the USA for a “Happy Driving” promotional tour. Could it be part of Akio Toyoda’s Waku Doki “Fun to Drive” imperative for his namesake brand?
