Coinciding with the launch of its new showroom in Bonifacio Global City, PGA cars also launched the all-new Audi A6, dubbed the most advanced in its class.
The A6 uses aluminum and steel composite construction to pare down its curb weight, with some models weighing 15% less than an all-steel equivalent. This translates to better performance and fuel economy, and less emissions.
With plenty of power from the standard engine, the A6 should be quite potent on the road. The A6 3.0 TDI quattro S-Tronic is powered by a 3.0-liter turbodiesel V6 engine, capable of 245 bhp and a robust 500 Nm of torque. Top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h. Drive goes through a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox, which minimizes shift times for virtually uninterrupted torque delivery.
The cockpit features Audi’s MMI driver interface with 6.5” color display, a Bose sound system, Bluetooth mobile connectivity, paddle shifters, and motorized steering column.
The company’s trademark quattro all-wheel drive system helps keep the car securely planted. The system uses torque vectoring to keep the car directed where the driver desires. Adaptive air suspension promises to cosset the occupants in well-damped comfort. 18-inch alloy wheels are standard.
The distinctive face of the A6 is dominated by its LED headlights and familiar Audi LED daytime running lights.
