Chrysler USA showed images of the 2011 Jeep Wrangler. The quintessential Jeep model’s most significant new feature will be (wait for it) a body-color hardtop. The interior also gets upgraded materials and comfort features. A new instrument panel, more storage, new center stack, steering-wheel audio controls all make their way to the new Jeep. Improved insulation promises to reduce wind and road noise. Interior styling touches include hex-head bolts peppered throughout the cabin and used to hold a “Jeep Since 1941” logo on the passenger grab handle. If a Jeep will be used the way it’s been designed to, that handle will be gripped pretty hard. There’s also a 110-volt electrical outlet in case you want to bring your imported toaster oven along for the ride.
