MIAS 2011 opens on April 7: Automotive Evolution

April 04,2011

You are invited to the 2011 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) from April 7-10, 2011 at The World Trade Center (WTC). With this year’s theme of “Automotive Evolution”, MIAS aims to highlight the advanced capabilities of today’s cars in terms of technology, fuel efficiency, performance and a glimpse of what lies ahead in the cars of the future.

Since 2005, MIAS has welcomed more than 60,000 visitors annually; increasing MIAS’s desire to deliver a bigger and brighter show each year for both visitors and exhibitors alike. The 2011 show will be the biggest yet, occupying more than 24,000 square-meters of exhibition space, including the Philippine Trade Training Center (PTTC) located next to the WTC. Undoubtedly, this cements MIAS as the country’s biggest and most anticipated motoring event.

This year’s highlights include the return of the Subaru-Russ Swift precision driving show, a classic, vintage and custom car competition, the European Mobile Media (EMMA) competition, a photo contest and exhibit and other celebrity driver appearances. In addition, MIAS 2011 is sure to excite the car enthusiast with the launch of brand new models right on the show floor.

Highlighting the car industry’s continued growth amidst the global financial crisis, MIAS is instrumental in providing not only entertainment to car enthusiasts and their families, but has been a catalyst to boost local car sales. After all, it is home to more than 20 international brands and is considered to be one of the best attended car sales events events.
